cancellation

We require at least 24 hours notice for both daycare and grooming cancellations to avoid a late cancellation fee or lost daycare credit.

If you cancel your reservation within our 24-hour cancellation policy, your daycare credit will be lost OR there will be a $15 +hst late cancellation fee.

If three unpaid late cancellations are accumulated, booking services may be frozen until the charges can be applied.


missed service

If you miss your daycare or grooming reservation without notification, there will be a charge of 50% of the service cost to your file, which must be paid before booking future services. (for daycare clients, your credit for the day may also be lost).

If three no shows are accumulated, you will be dismissed as a client.

Please be mindful that missed services directly impact the income of our team members and prevent others on the waitlist from accessing our services. Thank you!


waitlist

If a daycare date you wish to book is full, you will be added to our waitlist. You will need an available daycare package or credit card on file to do so.

When the booking becomes available, we will automatically add your dog according to your position in the queue, up to when the booking is scheduled to begin. If you are successful in securing a booking, an email confirming your reservation will be sent to you.

By adding yourself to the waitlist - we assume that you are actively wanting to access daycare services for that date. If you do not wish to be committed to the booking slot, you will need to cancel your booking.

A credit will be applied if you are successful in securing a booking or held up until the online waitlist expires (a few minutes after booking is scheduled to begin).

Our 24-hour cancellation policy and missed service policies apply if your dog secures a booking off of the waitlist.


REFUNDS & Transfers

Daycare passes and packages are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Retail items are refundable if tags are still attached and products are unworn/unused unless noted by staff as Final Sale.


Late Pick-up: Daycare

In cases where clients pick-up their dog past store closing on any given day, a late pick-up fee of $15.00 + applicable taxes will be charged. For each 15 minutes, there will be an additional $15.00 added to account for staff staying with your dog.

Our Professional Groomers have the right to refuse your dog for a booked grooming appointment if you are more than 15 minutes late for the scheduled appointment, and clients will be expected to pay the missed service fee of 50% of the service cost to re-book their dog.

Grooming clients will be charged a late pick up fee of $15.00 + applicable taxes if clients are 30 minutes past the groomer’s “ready for pickup” notification either via text or phone. If the store has closed, for each 15 minutes that passes, there will be an additional $15.00 added to account for staff staying with your dog.


daycare assessments

Every dog’s first half day is free! This allows our team to assess your dog’s suitability for small dog daycare.

However, if your dog does not attend daycare within a 90 day time period (3 months), a re-assessment at owner’s expense will be required in order for your dog to return to regular daycare at Dream Dog Bedford.
